1:1 Laptop Distribution
1 to 1 Laptop Checkout Information for Grades 6, 7, 8
All secondary students in VCS are eligible to check out a personal laptop this school year. Click here to review the 1 to 1 Student/Parent Handbook.
Below you will find the attached Acknowledgement Form to complete to check out a laptop. Please send your completed form with your middle school student or drop it off in the Main Office.
Optional Device Insurance
- A once per year fee of $30 per student is required to opt in to the VCS Insurance program, to be paid within 30 days of receiving a VCS 1 to 1 device.
- Students certified as free or reduced lunch will have the annual premium waived BUT will need to enroll into the program.
- If a student loses a charger or district provided case, a $25 replacement fee will be assigned each time regardless of participation in the insurance program.
